Companies that have not focused earlier on the condition burn-out, ought to initiate an ”immediately course of action”. When this course is well-established, a plan of strategy should be composed for long-term prevention of burn-out.

Do not initiate too many actions in the beginning. Start with those you believe will have the biggest effect on preventing burn-out, and focus on these for a period of time.
Private circumstances and personality can also contribute to burn-out. But actions directed only towards employees, for instance stress coping course, usually only have temporary effect. For long-term prevention, actions on company level are also needed.
